JUNIOR GOLF
Each summer the recreation department and the golf course sponsor several Jr. Golf Camps. Sessions are offered during the morning and evening hours. These camps last 3 days and cover the basics of golf. Putting, chipping, and full swings are taught. Approximately 12 children per camp ages 6 to 12 enjoy a fun, no pressure introduction to the game. We will be offering 14 camps this year, covering 7 weeks. The highlight of each camp is always what we refer to as the “impossible putt.” This putt is the full length of the putting green breaking left to right at least 10 feet. Over the past 9 years, the putt has been attempted an estimated 2500 times and has been made only 8 times. It is great to hear those kids cheer for each other as a putt gets close to that hole.

LADIES DAY THURSDAYS
On Thursday mornings during the summer months, we have a group of ladies who play 18 holes. They are a fun and golf-loving group who play a different game each week. All ladies are invited to come to the course and join the fun. Starting time is 8:30.
SENIOR GOLF
The course has a large group of senior golfers. Many seniors like to play early on weekdays, as they are called “dew sweepers.” Most seniors like the course because of its excellent condition and its slightly rolling terrain that makes it a great course for walking. Senior players enjoy a reduced rate on weekdays. Come out and enjoy the fun!
