Thank you for visiting our web site. Forest City has so much to see and enjoy that we encourage you to visit us, but be warned, you may never leave.
We are located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Our town is very close to major cities but we have maintained that family atmosphere that is the heart of our community.
Walk down our main street and enjoy our hospitality. Visit one of our restaurants, coffee shop, or our local drug store. In baseball season take in a game and watch our national championship team. Stay the weekend and visit our local sites as well as other areas of interest that are just a short drive away. While you are here please attend a church of your choice. You will find our town charming, clean, and friendly.

LEAF COLLECTION SEASON ENDS
Leaf collection in the Town of Forest City will end on March 29th. The leaf machine will collect leaves through the week of March 25th - 29th. Please place your leaves at the curb for collection by March 25th. After March 25th, leaves and clippings must be placed in heavy plastic bags for collection. For further information call 245-0149.
