Incidents
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of marijuana. (See arrest of Scoggins)
  • Erica White reported an incident of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and larceny.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer.
  • An employee of Carter Bank & Trust reported an incident of fraud.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver schedule II, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver schedule VI and maintaining a dwelling for the sale of narcotics.   • An employee of Tri-City Animal Clinic reported an incident of found property.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of drug paraphernalia. (See arrest of Williamson)

Arrests
  • Ronald Adam Scoggins, age 36, of Pointer Rd. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for interfering with an electronic monitoring device and also charged with possession of marijuana. He received an $11,000 secured bond.
  • Delaine Diane Byrum, age 37, of Pennsylvania Ave. in Spindale, was arrested for resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $1,000 unsecured bond.
  • Artesha Lakel Eaves, age 26, of Old Castle Lane in Forest City, was arrested for maintaining a dwelling for the sale of narcotics. She received a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Rodney Teris Boykins, age 39, of Old Castle Lane in Forest City, was arrested for possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver schedule II and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver schedule VI. He received a $35,000 secured bond.
  • Edward Louis Williamson, age 17, of Poors Ford Rd. in Rutherfordton, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a written promise to appear.
