Incidents
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of larceny of a political sign. (See arrest of Brown)
  • Fannie Wilson reported an incident of larceny of medication.
  • An employee of the Town of Forest City reported an incident of illegal reconnection of utilities.
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny and trespassing. (See arrest of Pophal)
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. (See arrest of Fox)

Arrests
  • Anthony David Brown, age 34, of Groce St. in Forest City, was cited for possession of an open container and driving while license revoked. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Edward Andrew Gonzales, age 41, of Poplar St. in Forest City, was cited for second degree trespassing. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Mary Catherine Levesque, age 42, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was cited for aid and abet second degree trespassing. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Todd William Fox, age 47, of W. Main St. in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear, DWI, fail to maintain lane control, and also charged with possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $4,000 secured bond.
  • Rebecca Jane Pophal, age 35, of Martinsville, VA, was arrested for larceny. She received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Cody James Costa, age 24, of Hollis Rd. in Ellenboro, was cited for aid and abet DWI. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Ryan James Hartman, age 20, of Hollis Rd. in Ellenboro, was arrested for DWI and failure to burn headlights. He received a $1,000 unsecured bond.
