LIST OF PROGRAMS
SOCCER - A number of organizations use the soccer fields located at the Forest City Park on Vance Street. The Rutherford County Soccer Association holds their registration during the summer months. Their information number is 828-286-0073.
SWIM TEAM - The Forest City Swim Team is a co-sponsored program of the Recreation Department and uses the Clay Street pool for their home meets during the summer season.

YOUTH FOOTBALL - This program is co-sponsored by the FCPR and operated by a volunteer board of directors. The local organization is under the auspices of Pop Warner with age and weight limits enforced. Youth ages 7 - 15 are eligible to participate on football and cheerleading squads.
AAU/YBOA BASKETBALL - This program is co-sponsored by the FCPR and is operated by a volunteer board of directors. This is an organization for boys and girls which provides them with the opportunity to play at a competitive level with teams from across the country. They use Cool Springs and Callison Recreation Center gyms for their practices and home games. Contact person: Larry Ross 828-247-6102.
RECREATION LEAGUE YOUTH BASKETBALL - Leagues for boys and girls ages 5 - 15. Registration fee is $ 20.00 per child and must be paid at time of sign-up. Contact Larry Ross at Cool Springs gym, 828-247-6102.
LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL - This program is co-sponsored by the FCPR and is operated by a volunteer board of directors. The league encompasses tee ball through senior league teams for boys and girls.
