Incidents
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and habitual felon. (See arrest of Whitener)
  • An employee of Alexander Trading reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny.
  • An employee of Ingle's reported an incident of larceny by concealment. (See arrest of Phillips)
  • Joseph Night reported an incident of a possible biohazard contamination.
  • Travis Davenport reported an incident of assault inflicting serious injury. (See arrest of Watkins)
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. (See arrest of Wilkie)
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny.
Arrests
  • Christopher Adam Martin, age 39, of TC Trail in Forest City, was arrested for breaking and entering and larceny. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Billy Lee Greene, age 52, of Ferry Rd. in Mooresboro, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $500 secured bond.
  • Brian Michael Whitener, age 31, of Rock Corner Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and habitual felon. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Kenneth Brian Phillips, age 55, of Rockhill Lane in Forest City, was cited for larceny. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Calvin Lew Watkins, age 28, of Oak Ridge Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and assault inflicting serious injury. He received a $70,000 secured bond.
  • Kenneth Paul Wilkie, age 47, of Bill Wilkie Dr. in Zirconia, NC, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $5,500 secured bond.
  • Phillip Kent Ledford, age 36, of Goodes Creek Church Rd. in Mooresboro, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $2,000 secured bond.
