Arrests
  • Christopher Michael Hartford, age 28, of Willow Run Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for of assault on a female and resist and obstruct and/or delay an officer. He received a 48 hour hold.
  • Phillip Bern Pendleton, age 61, of Joe's Lake Rd. in Shelby, was arrested for larceny and also served with a warrant from Cleveland County for larceny and possession of stolen property. He received a $5,000 secured bond.
  • Kimberly Ann Owens, age 51, of Bills Creek Rd. in Lake Lure, was arrested for larceny. She received a custody release.
  • Galen Pikney Briggs, Jr., age 18, of Seitz Dr. in Forest City, was cited for larceny by price substitution. He received a written promise to appear.
  • James Howard Greene, age 51, of Bills Creek Rd. in Lake Lure, was arrested for delivering schedule II controlled substance. He received a $15,000 secured bond.
  • Lisa Lawter Greene, age 50, of Bills Creek Rd. in Lake Lure, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II. She received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Billy Charles Wilson II, age 54, of Della Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for possession of schedule II and possession of an open container in the passenger area. He received an $8,000 secured bond.
  • Kathy Faye Friday, age 28, of Rock Corner Rd. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for cyberstalking and also served with a criminal summons for larceny. She received a $500 secured bond.
