Incidents

  • Nikki Tipton reported an incident of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. (See arrest of Gerecke)

  • An employee of Ingle's reported an incident of larceny and trespassing. (See arrest of Williams)

  • An employee of Dollar General reported an incident of larceny and trespassing. (See arrest of Williams)

  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of obtain property by false pretenses. (See arrest of Boner)

  • Jennifer Patton reported an incident of breaking and entering.

Arrests

  • Jason Michael Gerecke, age 36, of Nixon Dr. in Shelby, was arrested for aggravated assault with sexual motives and disorderly conduct. He received a $5,000 secured bond.

  • Larry Ray Pyatt, age 59, of NC Hwy 126 in Nebo, was arrested on a warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses. He received a $10,000 unsecured bond.

  • Kareen Jaron Williams, age 40, of Old Colony Rd. in Bostic, was arrested for three counts of habitual larceny. He received a $6,000 secured bond.

  • Jonathan Andrew Boner, age 27, of Longstone Lane in Charlotte, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply and also charged with obtaining property by false pretenses. He received a $2,000 secured bond.
