Incidents
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule I, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II, possession of schedule VI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and warrant service.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of discharging a firearm inside of the city limits.
  • Michele Phillips reported an incident of simple assault.
  • Evan Metcalf reported an incident of larceny of a motor vehicle.
  • An employee of Blue Ridge Sports Cars, Inc. reported an incident of larceny.
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses.

Arrests
  • Calvin Samuel Johnson, age 29, of US Hwy 64 of Rutherfordton, was arrested for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule I, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II, and also served with six warrants. He received a $70,000 secured bond.
  • Christopher Issiah Whiteside, age 38, of Dogwod Lane in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for parole violation. He was held without bond.
  • Brandon John Sabins, age 29, of Lafayette St. in Shelby, was cited for first degree trespassing. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Megan Leigh Lussier, age 27, of S. Magnolia St. in Forest City, was cited for first degree trespassing. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Fredrick Mark McKinney, age 38, of Duke St. in Forest City, was arrested for discharging a firearm inside of the city limits. He received a $1,000 unsecured bond.
  • Whitney Janel Byers, age 33, of Georgia St. in Spindale, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. She received a $500 unsecured bond.
  • Rebecca Diane Lee Greene, age 39, of Old Caroleen Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses. She received a $5,000 unsecured bond.
  • Damien Russell Greene, age 19, of Dobbins Rd. in Ellenboro, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses. He received a $5,000 unsecured bond.
  • Diane Renee Boyett, age 66, of Raven Lane in Forest City, was cited for second degree trespassing. She received a written promise to appear.
