Incidents

• Barbara Liles reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of kidnapping, assault by strangulation and possession of a firearm by a felon.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule II, assault on a female and simple assault. (See arrests of Barnes and Ludwig)

Arrests

• Douglas Ray Hoffman, age 57, of Baker St. in Rock Hill, was arrested for DWI. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
• Eva Agnes Barnes, age 26, of Coopers Gap Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and simple assault. She received a 48 hour hold.
• Lance Bret Ludwig, age 46, of Hill St. in Forest City, was arrested for assault on a female. He received a 48 hour hold.
