Incidents

  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny by removal of an anti-theft device, shoplifting and second degree trespassing. (See arrest of Hoppes)

Arrests
  • Marquez Deayon Lipscomb, age 20, of Myrtle Lane in Forest City, was arrested for indecent exposure and resisting a public officer. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Juan Rios Gaspard, age 24, of Cloverleaf Lane in Marion, was arrested for possession of schedule II, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Jordan Adam Hoppes, age 27, of Harrison St. in Bostic, was arrested for larceny by removal of an anti-theft device, shoplifting and second degree trespassing. He received a $6,000 secured bond.
  • Claude Glenn Bailey, age 73, of Hazelwood Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for DWI and failure to burn headlights. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Bryan Keith Jackson, age 25, if Valley St. in Forest City, was cited for shoplifting and damage to property. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Anthony Wayne Bradshaw, age 44, of Beaver St. in Forest City, was arrested for second degree forcible sex offense. No bond.
  • Joseph Zachary Malone, age 22, of Ellenboro Henrietta Rd. in Ellenboro, was cited for larceny. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Miranda Alana Moore, age 21, of Ellenboro Henrietta Rd. in Ellenboro, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
