• An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny.

Arrests

• Tracy Eugene Trotter, age 51, of Cedar Valley Lane in Mooresboro, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $50 secured bond.
• Naomi Louise Hamilton, age 57, of Silverplate Grill Rd. in Rutherfordton, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
