Arrests

  • Richard Anthony Flynn, age 35, of Gun Club Rd. in Bostic, was arrested for driving while impaired, no operator's license and reckless driving.
  • Robert Lee Queen, age 31, of Locust Trail in Forest City, was cited for going armed to the terror of the public. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Anthony Chase Godfrey, age 32, of Hudlow Rd. in Forest City, was cited for possession of marijuana and expired tag. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Jesse Oneil Simmons III, age 35, of Big Springs Ave. in Forest City, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Wesley Glen Thompson, age 25, of Mountain View St. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, possession of schedule IV, possession of cocaine, failure to report an accident, breaking and entering and damage to real property. He received a $15,000 secured bond.
  • Jay William Hamrick, age 46, of Necktie Thompson Rd. in Bostic, was arrested for driving while impaired and failing to stop at a stop sign. He received a $300 secured bond.

  • Gary Douglas Crawford, age 57, of Shasta Lane in Mooresboro, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $500 secured bond.
  • Nathan Allen Montieth, age 36 of W. Mountain St. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for manufacturing liquor without a permit, possession of schedule II, driving while license revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $3,500 secured bond.
  • Zachary Steven Brown, age 21, of Fostoria Place in Albemarle, NC, was cited for possession of schedule VI. He received a written promise to appear.
