Incidents

• An employee of Walmart reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses.
• Kendall Curtis reported an incident of assault on a female.
• An employee of Walmart reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses.
• An employee of Speedway reported an incident of found property.

Arrests

• Heather Raanne Brooks, age 25, of Moore Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses. She received a $5,000 secured bond.
• Kenneth Robert Hughes, age 42, of Rock Road in Rutherfordton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $500 secured bond.
