POPS Rules

POPS INFORMATION

POPS is open every day from 8AM-9PM. The splash pads are open Monday to Saturday from 10AM-9PM and Sunday from 1-9PM except during certain events. If the splash pads are closed for any reason, it will be posted on our Facebook page. There is no charge to access the park or the splash pads. Outside food and beverages are allowed if the concession stand is not open.

PARK RULES

  • No tobacco, smoking or vaping
  • No alcohol unless sold at an event
  • No glass containers or bottles
  • No firearms, knives or weapons of any kind
  • No skateboards, skates, RazorsĀ®, rollerblades, scooters, Hoverboards, bicycles and similar recreation equipment
  • All pets must remain on a leash at all times
  • No person shall lie or sleep in a prone position on seats, tables, or benches in city parks (Town of Forest City, NC Code of Ordinances Sec. 15-7)
  • Any guest that is violating venue policy or law will be ejected from the venue at the sole discretion of venue management

EVENT RULES

  • No alcohol unless sold at an event
  • No outside food or beverages if concessions are open
  • No umbrellas
  • Personal cameras are allowed in the venue, but professional cameras, flash photography, recording equipment, removable lens cameras and laser pointers are prohibited without the venue's approval
  • Blankets welcome and low lawn chairs are allowed
  • All events are rain or shine; there are no refunds for bad weather
  • All bags, coolers and outside materials are subject to search
  • No re-entry allowed for ticketed events; if you leave at any point in the evening, you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket
  • Any guest that is violating venue policy or law will be ejected from the venue at the sole discretion of venue management

SPLASH PAD RULES

  • Children must have adult supervision at all times.
  • For your safety, the splash pad is under video surveillance and is regularly monitored.
  • At first sight of lightning or sound of thunder, immediately move to a safe place away from the splash pad.
  • Do not use the splash pad until at least 30 minutes have passed after a thunder or lightning event.
  • All non-potty-trained children must wear a swim diaper.
  • Restrooms (with diaper-changing stations) are available in the pump house restroom and both concessions restrooms.
  • Water shoes/sandals are strongly recommended.
  • Any guest that is violating venue policy or law will be ejected from the venue at the sole discretion of venue management.

The following activities and items are not permitted in the splash pad area:

  • Tobacco, smoking or vaping, which is not permitted anywhere at POPS
  • Drinking splash pad water or spitting/spouting of water from the mouth
  • Rough play and profanity
  • Inflatable pool toys, athletic or other recreation equipment
  • Food, candy, gum, beverages and glass containers or bottles
  • Soaps, detergents and shampoos
  • Pets
  • Persons having a contagious disease
  • Mud, sticks, leaves or debris
  • Skateboards, skates, RazorsĀ®, rollerblades, scooters, Hoverboards, bicycles and similar recreation equipment
