Events & Programs

  • Preschool Storytime: This program is offered every Monday and Thursday at 10AM from September to May. (same program both days) This story program is for children ages birth to five years and a caregiver, which has an emphasis on stories and activities for toddlers. Each week, we offer stories, songs, rhymes, movement and book sharing time. This program emphasizes early literacy skills and is a great way to meet other families with young children.

  • 1000 Books Before Kindergarten: This program is a fun, exciting and free way to start your child on the path of success! Any child ages birth to kindergarten can participate. The simple and enjoyable act of sharing books helps your child learn pre-reading skills such as understanding the sounds letters make, developing a larger vocabulary and building background knowledge – all important skills that help prepare your child for learning to read and entering kindergarten.

  • Summer Reading Program: This program is offered for preschool through fifth grade in June and July. There are a few shelves in the library where we place books for sale. Please feel free to browse them any time you visit with us.
