- Council held a public hearing for the annexation request from Operation 53 LLC on the property located at 0 Withrow Rd. Council voted to approve the annexation request.
- Council held a public hearing for a text amendment to the UDO Section 3.3. The propose amendment would allow residential properties located in the C-1 (Central Business District) and C-3 (Highway Commercial District) zoning districts to include residential accessory structures such as detached garages, storage buildings, pools, and pool houses.
- Police Officer Ethan Conley was sworn in as an officer for the Forest City Police Department.
- Council approved the appointment of Linda Greene by the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners to fill Jack Elliott's term expiring April 2028 representing the ETJ on the Board of Planning and Adjustment.
- The following five vehicles from the Forest City Police Department were declared surplus:

- 2018 Dodge Charger

- 2003 Cadillac Escalade
- 2005 Toyota Corolla
- Council approved the appointment of Jeff Brookshire to fill the vacancy of Sonja Smith on the Board of Planning and Adjustment.
- Council approved a budget amendment to transfer funds from other Parks and Recreation departments to the clubhouse budget for the purpose of renovating the exterior of the building to prevent further damage.
- Council approved the ordinance for the Be the Light 5K on Sunday, December 14.
- Comments from Town Manager Dr. Mason included recognition of the success of the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Christmas Parade, an update on December carriage rides, and notification of a countywide 250th Anniversary Celebration on July 4, 2026.
The next Board of Commissioners meeting will be on December 15 at 6PM at the Cool Springs Administrative Offices.
