• An employee of Walmart reported an incident of Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
• An employee of Collins Metal reported a Larceny.

Arrests

• James Adam Gettys, age 31, of Golf St in Forest City, was arrested for Obtaining Property by False Pretense, Uttering Forged Instrument, Identity Theft, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, and Larceny of Motor Vehicle. He received a $75,000 secured bond.
• Curtis Allen Jackson, age 35, of Bartley St in Spindale, was arrested for Failure to Appear. He received a $1250 secured bond.
• China Rose Brooks, age 24, of Ivy Hollow Dr in Charlotte, was arrested for Failure to Appear. She received a $1000 secured bond.
• Kyle Forrest Shytles, age 46, of Charles St in Forest City, was arrested for DWLR, Fictitious Tag, and no insurance. He received a written promise to appear.
• James Scott Christenbury, age 43, of Enon Rd in Morganton, was arrested for Larceny and Aid & Abet Larceny. He received a $3500 secured bond.
• Joshua Darin Tipton, age 28, of Silvers Lake Rd in Rutherfordton, was arrested for Violation of Protective Order. He received a $2500 unsecured bond.
