Arrests
- Jeremy Lee Brown, age 38, of N. Ridgecrest Ave. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for first degree murder and two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. He is being held without bond.
- Phillip Brad Dobbins, age 43, of Firpo Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for assault on a female and resisting a public officer. He received a $3,000 secured bond.
- Juan Jose Jarquin Cruz, age 52, of Windy Hill Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for driving while impaired. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
- Leslie Germaine Givens, age 49, of Byers Rd. in Forest City, was served with a criminal summons for simple assault. No bond.
- Montana Hobson, age 25, of Groves Rd. in Union Mills, was arrested on warrants for four counts of failure to appear. She received a $5,500 secured bond.
