Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of identity fraud, forgery of securities, larceny chose in action and uttering.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of animal cruelty, resisting a public officer and allowing a minor access to a firearm.
• An employee of Darrell's Auto Sales reported an incident of larceny of motor vehicle parts.

Arrests

• Kayla Brooke McEntire, age 24, of Tryon, NC, was arrested for identity fraud, forgery of securities, larceny chose in action and uttering. She received a $10,000 secured bond.
• Jonathon Lee Reece, age 18, of W. Trade St. in Forest City, was arrested for of animal cruelty and resisting a public officer. He received a $5,000 secured bond.
• Beverly Littlejohn Rochester, age 63, of W. Trade St. in Forest City, was cited for animal cruelty. She received a written promise to appear.
