Incidents

  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny and damage to property.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule II controlled substance.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of heroin and larceny.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident driving while impaired and helmet violation.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of resisting a public officer, assault by strangulation, larceny, kidnapping and bond revocation.

 

Arrests

  • Jasmine Marie Danielle Mendoza, age 19, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was cited for larceny and damage to property. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Joshua Lee Green, age 33, of Tate St. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Ruben Carlitos Mauricio Lopez, age 21, of Greene Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of schedule II. He received a $2,500 secured bond.
  • Christopher Keith Kimbrell, age 34, of Big Springs Ave. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of heroin, larceny and also served with warrants for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia and failure to appear. He received a $30,000 secured bond.
  • Anthony Jesus Lucero, age 41, of Groce St. in Forest City, was arrested for driving while impaired and helmet violation. He received a $1,000 unsecured bond.
  • Kenneth Scott Merck, age 49, of Bridge Rd. in Ellenboro, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $500 secured bond.
  • Joshua Gregory Tristan Wood, age 30, of Bethany Church Rd. in Forest City, was served with a criminal summons for second degree trespass. No bond.
  • Darien Akeil Brown, age 20, of McArthur St. in Forest City, was arrested for resisting a public officer, assault by strangulation, kidnapping and bond revocation. He is being held without bond.
  • Joshua Wayne Cuthbertson, age 28, of Sid Sims Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $1,500 secured bond.
