Rutherfordton & Forest City, NC – The Town of Rutherfordton and the Town of Forest City are proud to team up to deliver a full day of celebration, music, and family fun this fall. On Saturday, October 4, the annual Hilltop Fall Festival returns to downtown Rutherfordton from 10am-5pm, followed by a free concert at the Pavilion on Park Square (POPS) in Forest City from 7-10PM featuring Legacy Motown Revue, the ultimate Motown tribute.
The Town of Rutherfordton is excited to bring back the annual Hilltop Fall Festival to historic downtown Rutherfordton. The festival will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 10am-5pm (rain date October 11). The event will feature over 135 vendors, live music from Caution! Blind Driver and Pretty Little Goat at the Main St. Park Stage, wrestling shows, and a Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue Dog Costume Contest. Attendees can also enjoy family-friendly activities for all ages, including pumpkin painting, bounce houses, the Balloon Fairy, Excavator Rodeo, rides, and more! This beloved community tradition is made possible through the support of many local partners, including Platinum Sponsors: Rutherford Regional Health System and MidSouth Septic Solutions.
After a full day at the Hilltop Fall Festival, the fun continues just a short drive away in downtown Forest City. Sponsored by Parker Hannifin, the Town of Forest City will host a free outdoor concert at POPS from 7-10PM with Legacy Motown Revue. Known for their powerhouse vocals, smooth choreography, and all the classic Motown and soul classics, they’re ready to bring a high-energy show to POPS to keep you dancing all night! With plenty of room to sing and dance, it’s the perfect way to cap off a full day of fall festivities in Rutherford County.
