An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident reported an incident of flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, Failing to stop for a duly erected stop sign, fail to burn white light on registration plate, possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substance and resisting a public officer. (See arrests of Simmons, Franklin and Franklin)
Joel Jowers reported an incident of found property.

Malik Shaheem Franklin, age 29, of Thompson Street in Forest City, was arrested for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, maintain a dwelling to keep controlled substance, possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $17,000 secured bond.
Rahkim Tashiem Franklin, age 22, of Hill Street in Forest City, was arrested for possession of schedule II, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and resisting a public officer. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
Ashley Hope Simmons, age 24, of Old US Hwy. 74 in Bostic, was arrested for Flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, failing to stop for a duly erected stop sign and fail to burn white light on registration plate. She received a $1,000 secured bond.
Eddie Floyd Dixon, age 37, of Spruce Park in Forest City, was served with a notice of hearing for violation of unsupervised probation. No bond.
