  1. Public comments from citizen.
  2. IT Director Mickey Munn provided an update that Stage I of on the Tyler Technologies ERP implementation has been completed.
  3. Police Chief LeRoy provided an update on the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program Grant, including the completion of the first quarter of the current grant cycle and notice of intent to apply for the upcoming grant cycle.
  4. Council approved updated cemetery rules for Cool Springs Cemetery and Alexander Cemetery. Changes include updated pricing for cemetery plots, the opening of the Bright section at Cool Springs Cemetery, and the option for mausoleums.
  5. The following vehicles were declared surplus:
    1. 2005 F250 Ford Pickup from the Fire Dept
    2. 2011 Ford Transit Van from IT
  6. Dr. Mason provided a recap on the success of the Hometown Holiday Festivities.
  7. Manager's Report from Dr. Mason, which included updates on the following:
    1. The survey has been completed and fencing installed for the new Park Square Depot (future home of the Farmers Market). The groundbreaking will be held on Thursday, January 15.
    2. Council received a copy of the FY25 audit, which is scheduled for presentation at the Feb 16 regular meeting.
    3. Notification of the first budget work session to be held on Feb 2 at 108 E Main St.
    4. Announcement that interviews for the Parks and Recreation Director will begin on January 13.

The next regular Board of Commissioners meeting will be on February 16 at 6PM at the Cool Springs Administrative Offices.
